MB Tech acquires Digital Channel Solutions

South Africa : IT distribution group MB Technologies has acquired accessory specialist Digital Channel Solutions (DCS) for an undisclosed amount. According to MB Technologies, this acquisition is the start of an acquisition trail over the coming months, as more deals are in the pipeline as the group looks to consolidate its position as one of the country's biggest distributors. Subject to Competition Commission approval, Digital Channel Solutions' team will move under the Advanced Channel Technologies banner, MB Technologies maintaining the Cape Town presence that DCS already while moving the current Kyalami operations into ACT's new facilities in Sandton. Richard Radue, the former MD of DCS, will take up the position of Retail Business Unit Manager within the company.
