Germany : after a first eponymous distributor in the United Kingdom, a second, totally unrelated aaS VAD Cloud-Distributions has opened in Germany. Like its competitor across the North See, Cloud-Distributions is focused on the distribution of cloud services. The company has chosen to work only with local vendors and editor, like Imagicle, Datus or VPN Deutschland. As its founders come from the telecom industry, it is no big wonder that the company initially is mainly active on the Unified Communications aaS market, albeit it also has a security offer.

Using iViz product, Cloud Distribution is able to provide to its partners on-demand penetration testing for proactive security audit risk management and compliance for standards such as SOX, PCI, HIPAA or ISO 27001. Wick Hill signs with Expand Networks

American WAN optimization vendor Expand Networks has appointed VAD Wick Hill as official distributor in both Germany and the United Kingdom. In this country, Wick Hill is the fourth Expand distributor, beside CDG, Cloud Distribution and Sematron, after the vendor dropped Arrow ECS some time ago. Wick Hill ought to target a more "generalist" type of reseller.
