Comtrade unifies the name of its distribution arms
Being a large international company with diversified geographical presence, ComTrade Group has decided to integrate a unique system of naming (labeling) its distribution companies. Hence, since September 7th 2008, all seven (7) Group members dealing with distribution (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia) shall carry an identical name, namely CT Computers. The change will be reflected by a registration of legal individuals (entities) under new names, as well as through regular usage of such names throughout corporate communication.
Source invests on EMC
Belgium : since Bell lost EMC card in the country, storage VAD Source has become the only official EMC distributor in the country. In order to better answer resellers needs, the company hired from Bell Philippe Lipinski as EMC product manager, Farouk El Jahouari and Hilde Nysen as channel managers (source : IT Reseller Belgique).

Tundra Adds Avnet Memec as a Pan-European Distributor
Semiconductor distributor Avnet Memec has signed a pan-European distribution agreement with Tundra Semiconductor Corporation, a leader in System Interconnect. Under this agreement, Avnet Memec will market and sell Tundra’s whole product portfolio to new and existing European customers, and will provide comprehensive technical design-in support for Tundra products utilizing its network of offices in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, UK. The agreement is effective immediately.
