United Kingdom : as part of its commitment to help resellers implement complete mobility solutions for their end users, ScanSource Europe is now able to offer airtime contracts to resellers in the the country. Working with specialised ScanSource Europe Solution Partners, the value added distributor can provide resellers with data airtime contracts for use with GPRS-equipped mobile computers. This initiative has been developed to allow ScanSource to offer resellers competitive contract rates for GPRS data airtime and to permit resellers to select, test and deploy wireless data only airtime contracts from Vodafone and O2. Airtime contracts from two of the UK’s major providers are available, with plans to offer contracts from other providers in the near future. In addition to domestic UK contracts, ScanSource can provide resellers with extremely competitive rates that enable roaming across Europe. Upon success, the distributor plans to expand this initiative to the other European countries where it is present.
