Dexxon centralizes marketing
Storage specialist Dexxon has decided to centralize its marketing operations in France. Therefore, Miriam Franke, its German marketing manager, who was offered to move to Paris, has preferred to leave the company. Other Dexxon subsidiaries (in Belgium, Netherlands and Sweden) should be subject to the same moves, providing they previously had local marketing resources. Koch Media goes north
Scandinavia : German game and software specialist Koch Media has completed its European coverage by opening a new office in Sweden. This office, headed by industry-veteran Martin Sirc, covers all Scandinavian countries (Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden) and will, until distribution partnerships has signed, focus on Koch Media’s own label Deep Silver.

Saudi Arabia : distribution outfits Redington and Empa have been awarded the rights to sell Netgear products in Saudi Arabia. France : Montpellier broadliner RPone has signed a partnership with BitDefender representative in the country, Editions Profil, in order to distribute its full line of retail security products.
IBM rips up Ingram Micro server contract
United Kingdom : IBM is winding down its UK partnership with Ingram Micro on System x following a review of the business, leaving the distributor without a top three server vendor. Photography and consumer electronics specialist BHS Binkert has secured a distribution partnership with Dutch Retsoft, which is specialized in archiving software. This partnership covers Austria, Germany and Switzerland through its offices in Liechtenstein.
