Tech Data purchases an IBM expertise
Spain : broadliner Tech Data has hired from Italian value-added broadliner Computer Gross the IBM-dedicated VAD Compumedi for an undisclosed amount. Thus, Computer Gross leaves Spanish territory, while Tech Data gains a strong expertise and marketshare in IBM business in the country, as Compumedi counts 50 employees and generated a yearly turnover of over €60m. Compumedi staff should be integrated into Azlan VA division later this year, providing the purchase is approved by antitrust authorities.
