Some downloads for Avanquest resellers
France : feeling that boxed software would live their last years, software specialist Avanquest is preparing his future by launching a download service dedicated to its resellers and named Avanquest Partner Online, therefore adding a dematerialized service to its offer. According to Laurent Guerry, commercial director of the French subsidiary of the company, this download offer is due to rapidly amount up a sizeable part of its sales, and will feature additional rebates for the resellers, compared to its retail e-commerce website. This will allow the resellers not to buy boxed products through Avanquest distribution partners in the country (broadliners Ingram Micro and Tech Data) whenever necessary. This new service is also available to Avanquest British and German resellers.
SteelSeries announces partnership with Pinnacle Micro

Magirus offers credit lifeline
United Kingdom : network and security distributor Magirus has claimed that leasing will represent more than 50 per cent of channel financing by 2012 as it launches the Magirus Credit Solutions service. Via an agreement with EMC Global Financial Services, the distributor will provide flexible finance packages to free up credit for its resellers to offer their customers.
