CCI extends Hitachi GST partnership
United Kingdom : storage and multimedia distributor CCI Distribution has added Hitachi Global Storage Technologies’ (Hitachi GST’s) range of portable and desktop external hard drives to its UK portfolio. Harrogate-based CCI already distributes Hitachi GST’s range of mobile, desktop and enterprise internal hard drives (source : Computer Reseller News United Kingdom).
iValue in expansion mode, boosts direct presence
India : young network and security VAD iValue InfoSolutions has announced the opening of four more offices, and the commencement of overseas operations as a continuation of its aggressive growth plans. iValue has increased direct presence from 6 to 10 locations. The new locations initiated are Ahmedabad (Gujarat), Nagpur (Maharashrata), Kochi (Kerala) and Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu). Fluke signs master distie
Middle East : Fluke Networks has named cabling and networking VAD Synergix International as its master distributor for the Middle East and North Africa region. The vendor, which provides solutions for the installation, certification, testing, monitoring and analysis of copper, fibre and wireless networks, claims that the hiring of new distributors in the GCC region can often be a veiled move by vendors to reduce their own sales presence in the region (source : ITP Middle East).

Benelux : telephony and telecom vendor and distributor Tiptel has been appointed as official distributor in the Benelux (through its offices in Belgium and the Netherlands) for Digium telephony cards. ITway gets into storage
