The Phone House gets into distribution
Germany : telephony retailer The Phone House has decided to expand into distribution and opened a new business unit named MobileWorld Distribution. Managed by Dieter Kossmeier, director for indirect sales for the Phone House, MobileWorld Distribution will target small and medium phone resellers. These will access The Phone House portfolio, depending on authorizations from vendors : smartphones, netbooks, notebooks or subscriptions. It will be interested to see if these resellers will be able to see The Phone House as a partner more than a competitor…
BancTec and Al-Falak establish distribution relationship
Saudia Arabia : high-volume, document and payment processing solutions and services vendor BancTec has signed a distribution agreement with Saudi-based Al-Falak Electronic Equipment & Supplies. The agreement covers distribution in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates of BancTec’s IntelliScan and E-Series high-speed document scanning and sorting transports.

Ukraine : for its arrival in the country, Huawei has announced the appointment of specially-created VAD Secnet (aka Security Networking Distribution) as official distributor for its Huawei and Huawei-Symantec branded products. In complying with the International Standard for Organisation (ISO) norm, Alpha International has demonstrated its ongoing improvement and its commitment to attach high importance to customer satisfaction. The Alpha International distribution centre for Europe was already certified for ISO 14001:2008 in March 2009.
