Northamber loses its MD
2012-03-05 United Kingdom : Henry Matthews, who has been the managing director of broadliner Northamber for the last 30 years, is leaving the company, which has seen its turnover regularly sliding down since at least 10 years, to less than €140m in 2011. He is replaced by John Henry, who has been promoted to operations director.
Audio Visual Material displays with Vivitek
2011-12-19 United Kingdom : videoprojector vendor Vivitek has appointed AV specialist Audio Visual Material as new distributor for its projectors. Audio Visual Material becomes the third distributor of Vivitek in the country, beside Beta Distribution (office channel) and broadliner Northamber (IT market). Audio Visual Material will carry a broad range of Vivitek projectors suited for AV dealers and installers.
Fujitsu appoints Arrow ECS
2011-10-06 United Kingdom : Japanese vendor Fujitsu has appointed infrastructure VAD Arrow ECS as a distributor for its server and storage businesses. Thanks to this partnership, the goal of the vendor is to grow its marketshare to the 20% it has in other countries like Germany. Arrow ECS will work alongside the other Fujitsu Technology Solutions distributors, broadliners Ingram Micro and Northamber.
MSI signs with Enta
2011-09-14 United Kingdom : broadliner Enta Technologies has expanded its components offer through a distribution pact with Taiwanese vendor MSI. It will carry MSI's range of graphics cards, motherboards, notebooks and all-in-one PCs. Beside Enta, MSI also distributes its PC components through Micro Peripherals, Northamber and Spire and its notebooks through VIP.
