BlueStar unveils its new mobile POS strategy
Moving towards a future where smartphones and tablets have been adopted already as the ultimate solution in different markets, AIDC and POS specialistBlueStar is now directing all its attention into the mobile POS market. This new development leaded in Europe by France and the United Kingdom, and followed by Denmark, Finland, Germany, Norway, Spain and Sweden, is attracting lots of attention as it means a great opportunity to develop business areas where POS has never been before. Retailers and restaurant owners that have never accepted credit cards and previously operated a traditional cash register are turning to mPOS or tablet POS systems to increase their sales and expand their business. Existing large retailers are also adopting Mobile POS solutions and integrating them into their current point-of-sale environment to enhance the retail experience. By adopting some of the world leader brands along 2015, BlueStar Europe has stepped strongly in this market and reinforces its global leadership in the segment. Among the solutions recently adopted, the distributor highlights the mPOP from Star Micronics (a combined receipt printer and cash drawer) and the small, full-featured cash drawers from Heckler Design, which incorporate hidden media slots to grant more bill storage, as well as Kensington clicksafe cable lock to ensure the safety of their mPOS solutions.

SATO is committed to providing support to the channel and this agreement has been made as part of its channel strategy and recent "Year of the Channel" campaign. The partnership between the two companies has enabled SATO to expand its reach to resellers throughout Europe.
