Pirit joins Treolan
2012-02-15 Russia : PC component and server specialist Pirit Distribution has officially joined the Lanit group. The financial terms of the acquisition has, as often, not been disclosed. According to the plans of Lanit Group, Pirit business and teams will be gradually integrated into Treolan, the distribution business of the group, in 2012, to be fully merged into Treolan by early 2013. The St Peterburg office of Pirit will be included in the regional network of Treolan by then. The acquisition will allow Treolan to gain major distribution partnership, among which HP PSG and Asustek, and enter the retail market.

BancTec signs distribution agreement with PIRIT
2009-11-16 Russia : BancTec, a provider of high-volume document and payment processing solutions and services, has signed a distribution agreement with Moscow-based PIRIT to distribute BancTec solutions in Russia and other Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries, including Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Belarus. The agreement covers distribution of BancTec's IntelliScan and E-Series high-speed document scanning and sorting transports.
