2012-04-20 Germany : software VAD Prianto has acquired for an undisclosed amount its competitor SINN. The company becomes a business unit of Prianto, specialized on its core vendors, under the management of the former Sinn director, Georg Maurer.
Prianto gets serious about security
2012-04-09 Germany : software VAD Prianto has poached Karl Hoffmeyer from its competitor Westcon Security to head its newly created security business, sit in Paderborn. It is yet unknown if other former Westcon Security employees will follow Karl in this new adventure. Karl is not really in an unknown place, as he has been previously with William Geens, the director of Prianto, when they both worked for broadliner Actebis.

German software VAD Prianto has expanded its partnership with Quest, to distribute its full portfolio. Both companies started to work together in 2009, with an exclusivity deal on Toad for DB2. The expanded partnership encompass the full DACH region, that is Austria, Germany, Liechtenstein and Switzerland.
