Three new brands for Athena Global Services

French security specialist Athena Global Services has signed two new distribution partnerships, with Danish authentication specialist SMS Passcode and with Canadian remote control editor BeAnywhere. The distributor is also launching its own global network protection offer, dubbed EndSec and built on ESET, Devicelock and ShadowProtect technologies. All these products are also available in French-speaking Africa, through its specialized BU, Africa Global Services.
Athena Global Services enters the African market

French security VAD Athena Global Services, which is the local representative of several vendors among which Eset, has decided to official enter the African market by opening a dedicated division named Africa Global Services. Managed by Eric Jean, the former director of Safe-Protect in France, Africa GS will initially distribute from France Devicelock, Eset, Storagecraft and Websure products in Maghreb and the remaining French-speaking African countries.
Athena launches WebSure, its own security audit
2011-05-30 France : security and software specialist Athena Global Services has launched its own security audit tool, named WebSure. Based on Acunetix engine and data, WebSure aims to help developers creating less vulnerable websites. Three versions are available as SaaS tools to resellers : WebSure Audit for SMB, WebSure Indeep Audit for resellers and WebSure Webagencies (a new target for the distributor).
