The company is known for its original consumer electronics products (Under Hannspree brand) and a line of professional and digital signage monitors (under Hanns-G brand). The company is quite well distributed in Western Europe, and wishes know to push its brand through a strong marketing offensive in the region : « we plan to open shop-in-shops in London, Prague, Barcelona, Berlin, Milan and Paris within a year. We are also a sponsor of the Fashion Week in Berlin and London, all this in order to better showcase the originality of our products », explains Lukas Chong, managing director of the company for Europe.

The company, which started last year a sponsoring campaign on Superbike and NBA championshops, has also decided to display banners in 26 European football stadiums, for 560 matches in 2010-2011. « Many important clubs are covered, like Lyons, Bordeaux or PSG in France, Dortmund or Leverkusen in Germany, Manchester City in the United Kingdom, Athletico de Madrid, Valencia or Bilbao in Spain or AS Roma, Genoa or Atalanta Bergamo in Italy », he details. With this marketing campaign, Hannsgroup aims to grow its European marketshare from 0.2% to no less than 2% on televisions and from 5.8 to 6.2% on monitors in 2010 ! On Distree XXL, the company also plans to strengthen its positions in Eastern Europe and Northern Africa : « last year, we signed with ABC Data in Poland, MTI in Ukraine, Aline in Romania or Cedrus in Hungary. We hope to do at least as well this year », Chong concludes.
