Aptec trains on VMware
2011-10-06 Middle East : broadliner Aptec has been appointed by VMware official Authorised Training Centre (VATC) in the region. This partnership paves the way for the distributor to open a training centre at its UAE regional head office, Egypt and Saudi Arabia to follow later. The training centre, which will be hosted at its Dubai Internet City office, should be operational by the end of October.
Unatrac sets foot in KSA
2010-11-15 Saudi Arabia : Dell distributor Unatrac is preparing to take the fight to Aptec and Mindware in Saudi Arabia after opening its first office in the Kingdom - about which we could not find a single element yet. Although the Egypt-based distributor has long held the rights to sell Dell commercial products in Saudi it has not had a local presence in the market until now. The company insists the move will bring it closer to customers and pave the way for it to add other local distribution agreements (source : ITP Middle East).

2010-10-20 MENA : VoIP vendor Network Equipment Technologies has appointed Aptec Holding as distributor for Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Kuwait, Lebanon, Morocco, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Tunisia and Turkey. Under the agreement, Aptec Holdings will distribute the entire suite of NET products through its strong reseller base to address market demand for enterprise solutions for unified communications (UC) and Enterprise Border Controller applications.
