Findis acquires Cocelec

France : in order to strengthen its positions in the eastern part of the country, consumer electronics Findis is about to merge with its competitor Cocelec. Together, the companies will generate a turnover of about €400m and have a real national coverage. About 40% of their business is in the consumer electronics, the remaining being in white goods and cookware. The merge should result in some reorganization, especially in the regions where both companies are strongly present, that is Normandy, Centre and Lyons.
