ALSO Actebis invests in AV
2012-03-19 Germany : true to its MORE strategy, broadliner ALSO Actebis has acquired AV specialist Medium for an undisclosed amount. Providing pending regulatory approval in Germany, Medium should operate within ALSO Actebis as an independant company. Its role will be similar to TD Maverick within Tech Data. The broadliner still has to duplicate all its move towards value out of Germany. Medium has offices in Italy and the United Kingdom, which were closed a few years ago. Arno Alberty will retain his job as managing director of the company and will manage the reorganization within ALSO Actebis group. Reinhold Imdahl, one of the founders, retires altogether, while his cofounder, Peter Merczak, will continue to work for Medium as a consultant.
