EET Europarts acquires the activities in Kjaerulff1 Digital and Kjaerulff1 Development

Danish broadliner and sparepart specialist EET Europarts continue its expansionary strategy and implement its 18th acquisition since 1998 through the acquisition of the activities "Digital" and "Living" from Kjaerulff1 Digital A/S for an undisclosed amount. EET Europarts have only very limited activities within the acquired activities, so it is expected that activities and brands can develop and grow significantly in EET Europarts auspices, with an expected additional turnover of €14m in 2013. Kjaerulff1 has over the years developed three business areas: Digital, Living and Fiber Active products such as Intelligent Gateways and Smart Home Fiber Optic solutions. In order to ensure an optimal focus on the fiber division which in recent years has undergone a significant growth, the company has for strategic reasons, decided to sell the activities of the "Digital" and "Living" divisions. These two divisions develops and distributes equipment and accessories for audio / video, including digital TV receivers, CA modules, antennas, LNB heads, etc. In addition to this, the activities include also the distribution of a number of high‐end brands including Loewe product range in Denmark, Germany, Norway and Sweden, which have now been merged into local EET Europarts offices. EET Europarts will in the coming months introduce the acquired distribution activities for the remainder of the group subsidiaries in Europe and Africa. CEO Peter Lund, Kjaerulff1 Digital A/S is very pleased to have divested divisions "Digital" and "Living", as he is now able to concentrate its resources in the rapidly growing fiber area.

Broadliner and sparepart specialist EET Europarts has added the NVR servers from Iomega to its catalog. These products are available through its subsidiaries in Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy,the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Russia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine and the United Kingdom, as well as in its EET Security physical security business units.
EET Security distributes Canon

EET Security, the videosecurity division of broadliner EET Europarts which was previously known as Safevision, has inked a distribution deal with Canon for seven of its IP cameras. These products are available through EET Europarts and EET Security offices in Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
EMC provides Velocity distribution partners worldwide with new assembly services capability

Storage vendor EMC has enabled EMC Velocity distributors worldwide with the skills and resources required to assemble multi-vendor solutions that feature EMC's award-winning unified storage systems and next-generation backup solutions. Distributors worldwide will be provided with the technical training, proven methodologies and the backing of EMC's Global Services organization so they may assemble EMC VSPEX Proven Infrastructure and other solutions for their reseller Partners. By receiving a pre-assembled, proven solution on-site that has been customized to meet the customer's specific business needs, reseller Partners can immediately focus on accelerating the installation and implementation so that its customers can realize the benefits of the solution faster.
The new assembly capability for distributors builds on EMC's commitment to provide choice for how Partners assemble multi-vendor solutions. It also enables Partners to accelerate their profitability by focusing on value-added services to more quickly deploy the solution to meet specific customer needs. This announcement follows a string of other new EMC initiatives developed to help channel partners worldwide accelerate their customers' journey to the cloud. These include VSPEX Proven Infrastructure, as well as Velocity Cloud Practices – Cloud Builder and Cloud Provider – and EMC Cooperative Services, which were announced at the first annual Global Partner Summit held at EMC World in May.
