Signo expands in Europe

Cebit 2010 : Dutch distributor Signo, which is specialized in consumer electronics and peripherals with vendors like Data Robotics, Woxter or DViCo, is continuing its expansion in Europe with new subsidiaries in Poland and Belgium after Germany. It is now about to enter officially on French market. « We are already working since some time with local etailer/distributor MacWay. Through our Belgian subsidiary, we hope to extend our presence to major local etailers and retailers, like Pixmania, Fnac or Boulanger », explains Jan-Hein Streppel, Signo's managing director. Once a stable retailer network built, Signo will then open its French subsidiary. Its duty will be to address local smaller resellers. The distributor is already doing 80% of its business out of the Netherlands, on a very limited list of vendors which it knows very well and pushes on a sales and marketing point of view. It has recently added to its portfolio « air » keyboard from Cideko and Data Tale external hard drives from Onnto, whose drive cases it was already distributing since some time.

Three new brands for Signo

Consumer electronics specialist Signo, which is present in Germany and the Netherlands, has added Woxter, Revo and Onnto products to its offer. Woxter is a Spanish vendor offering several accessories and small peripherals. Revo is a webradio tuner vendor and Onnto produces storage cases (source : ChannelWorld Nederland).
