Arrow's education services selected to Top 20 IT training companies list
American multispecialist Arrow has been selected to the Top 20 IT Training Companies List from TrainingIndustry.com, a media outlet that covers the training industry. The Arrow Education Services group is designed to focus on training programs aimed at cultivating skills in emerging technologies, such as cloud, security, business analytics and mobility categories. The selection to this year's Top 20 list was based on innovation in IT training, breadth of training and delivery methods, company size and growth potential and number of training clients, among others.
Some sovereign cloud for Arrow ECS
Netherlands: in a bid to answer to the growing demand in sovereign cloud solutions, infrastructure VAD Arrow ECS has inked a distribution deal with local IaaS vendor Dutch Cloud, whose offer has been added to its local ArrowSphere cloud portal.
Tintri signs Arrow as distributor
Tintri, a producer of smart storage for virtualisation and cloud environments, has started a collaboration with infrastructure VAD Arrow ECS. Under the agreement the VAD will be offering the entire Tintri portfolio of solutions to its reseller base across EMEA, through its offices in Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, Israel, Luxembourg, Morocco, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. As a specialised enterprise computing distributor, Arrow has a strong track record in complete technical applications. Arrow ECS will leverage its sales team to help to continue Tintri's rapid growth throughout the targeted regions. Arrow's distribution services will play a key role in Tintri's recently expanded Global Channel Programme, by working closely with the channel community in each region to help them deliver sales and take advantage of Tintri resources, training and marketing benefits.
Aruba Networks extends Arrow EMEA distribution agreement
United Kingdominfrastructure VAD Arrow ECS has extended its EMEA distribution agreement with Aruba Networks to include the United Kingdom for all of Aruba's products. The agreement now covers Belgium, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom. Extending further its existing distribution network into Europe, Aruba Networks will leverage Arrow's capabilities to provide deeper support for current solution providers as well as an on-boarding service for VARs in new markets. The agreement means that Arrow will now be able to offer its UK resellers and solution providers access to the full range of Aruba Networks' products and services, including Wireless LANs, Remote Working, Wired Access, Outdoor Mesh, ClearPass Access Management, AirWave Network Management, Cloud Wi-Fi and Meridian Mobile Apps.
Information Builders and Arrow ECS to expand market reach of self-service business intelligence solutions
Information Builders, a business intelligence (BI) and analytics software editor, has unveiled a partnership with infrastructure VAD Arrow ECS. The company will distribute two versions of WebFOCUS Express via its solution provider network, a software-only version for IBM Power Systems running Linux and an Intel version running both Linux and Windows. As part of the partnership, Arrow will also manufacture and distribute an IBM Power Systems Linux Appliance version of WebFOCUS Express in both North America and EMEA through its offices in Africa, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, Israel, Luxembourg, Morocco, the Middle East, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States.
