Milcom goes further east

Danish mobility and telephony specialist Milcom has acquired its Lithuanian competitor Netplus for an undisclosed amount. Beside Lithuania, Netplus was present in Poland, Russia and Ukraine, where Milcom already should have a subsidiary through the acquisition of LCP Systems, a few weeks ago. One may note that neither LCP, nor Netplus have any functional website to get more informations about them. Also, none of these acquisitions are currently mentioned as operational offices on Milcom website (source : Computer Reseller News Danmark).

As part of its strategy for international growth, Danish mobility specialist Milcom has purchased the activities of its counterpart LCP Systems, which is present in Hungary, Slovakia, Romania and a bit in Ukraine (albeit this activity should be terminated as the company does not mention it in its press release). The company also announces to have opened new offices in Hong Kong and Italy, albeit no trace of them are to be found yet on its website. The amount of the acquisition has not been unveiled. LCP will change its name in all countries to Milcom.
