Germany: broadliner API has inked a distribution deal with scanner vendor Avision1. Telephony specialist Brodos has expanded its offer with smartphones from the Chinese vendor Nubia. Finally, videoprojector vendor Optoma has expanded its distributor stable with the Pro-AV BU of the Specialty Solutions division of broadliner Ingram Micro as well as Maverick, the AV division of its competitor Tech Data2. Both structures are allowed to distribute its mainstream products, while AV specialist Kinderman remains its official distributor for ProScene installation products (source: Dealers Only Deutschland 1 and 2, Telecom Handel Deutschland).
Germany: mobile phone specialist Brodos has expanded its portfolio with Savelli cases and Giga Fixxoo iPhone repair kits from Ströer Products. Its competitor Komsa has been chosen by home automation vendor EverFlourish as official distributor. Broadliner Siewert & Kau has inked a distribution deal with Fujitsu for its document scanners. New employees for Brodos and Siewert & Kau
Germany: telephony specialist Brodos has hired Christian Orthmann as new senior business development manager. Christian was previously working for Sony Mobile and E-Plus, and will develop a new sales concept related to e-commerce, albeit the distributor is not more precise regarding it, for the time being. In the same time, broadliner Siewert & Kau has promoted Markus Hollerbaum to the newly-created job of general manager for its S&K Services sister company, in charge of creation, development and sales of services for the resellers (source: CRN Deutschland and Telekom Handel Deutschland).
Germany: telephony specialist Brodos has added Technaxx and Xirrix accessories, small peripherals and consumer electronics products to its catalog, while its competitor Herweck has inked a distribution deal with local cable operator Unitymedia and KOMSA, another of its competitors, has expanded its value offer with QSC VoIP products. DACH: German mobile phone specialist Brodos has inked a distribution partnership with Chinese vendor Huawei, covering its full smartphone offer. Security VAD Prosoft has been chosen by Kingston as official distributor of its Ironkey cyphered USB key for the whole DACH region. Prosoft will distribute these products through its offices in Austria and Germany. In Germany still, broadliner Siewert & Kau has added Sharebot 3D printers to its catalog. German network vendor and distributor Allnet has opened a new sales office in Switzerland, aiming at answering more efficiently to the demands of its 70+ local resellers. Allnet Schweiz is managed by Andreas Zenk and will basically push the portfolio of Allnet Germany in the country. In Switzerland still, broadliner Alltron has strengthened its value offer with Avaya voice products1. Finally, following the demise of Maxdata, Swiss security and storage specialist Littlebit has hired some of the former employees of the PC vendor and got a hand on its reseller network. The distributor will offer its axxiv line of PCs, notebooks and servers as a continuation to Maxdata products2 (source: Telecom Handel Deutschland, IT Market Schweiz, IT Reseller Schweiz 1 and 2).
