Data Robotics to target VARs

IT Partners 2010 : Thanks to its new high-end Drobo Elite and Drobo Pro, storage vendor Data Robotics is now looking forward working with VARs. « We plan to leverage on our current distribution network to reach this new target and have no plans to recruit storage VADs, although they may be well tailored for this job», explains Mike Collins, EMEA Channel Director. The company has an extensive network in Western Europe, with several distributors covering multiple countries : Bell Micro for general purposes (United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Spain, Sweden, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany and Italy), Computers Unlimited (United Kingdom, France and Spain), Comline, Macline or American Dataline for Mac market, etc. « We are currently working on expanding to Eastern Europe, with the same strategy and a clear focus on high-end products. New partnerships should therefore be concluded in the coming months», concludes Mike Collins.
