Commtech appointed distributor for Isilon
2011-08-03 Ireland : already an EMC distributor, network and security VAD Commtech Distribution has been appointed distributor for Isilon Systems, a division of storage vendor. The partnership will see Commtech become the sole distributor for Isilon systems in the country. The Irish solutions and value added services distributor will offer the full Isilon portfolio to provide a broad range of options to address enterprise storage needs including software applications delivering enterprise-grade storage management, protection and distribution capabilities (source : TechCentral Eire).
Commtech and Iomega in distribution deal
2009-10-30 Ireland : Storage and data protection specialist Iomega has signed a partnership agreement with network and security VAD Commtech. The deal will see Commtech, which is already an EMC distributor, distributing Iomega's StorCenter Network Attached Storage (NAS) appliances in Ireland (source : TechCentral Eire).
ETC and Commtech latest disties to be cut by Novell

Novell is continuing to rationalise its distribution network and has called time on its relationship with ETC in the UK and Commtech in Ireland. As part of a review which has already seen Computer 2000 cut from the fold, Novell has served the two distributors on both sides of the Irish sea with 120 days notice of termination (source : Microscope United Kingdom).
