Almasa teams up with e-mail software vendor

Middle East : broadliner Almasa, which also owns offices in Kuwait and Saudia Arabia, has added another niche software vendor to its stable in the form of Waterford Technologies, a provider of e-mail, file archiving and management solutions. The agreement authorises Almasa to distribute Waterford's range of MailMeter software products across the Middle East and Africa, although Almasa should be more efficient in pushing Waterford solutions in Middle East only (source : ITP Middle East).

Almasa polishes software portfolio with Ericom

Almasa IT Distribution has diversified its value portfolio with the addition of Ericom Software, a provider of enterprise-wide application access and virtualisation solutions. Under the terms of the deal, Almasa will distribute, market and service designated Ericom software in the Middle East and Africa region, through its offices in Dubai, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia (source : ITP Middle East).

Belkin hands distribution contract to Almasa

Middle East : accessories vendor Belkin has called on broadliner Almasa to strengthen its distribution coverage in a handful of markets across the Gulf. The IT distributor, which bolstered its retail portfolio with the acquisition of Delta Business Products last year, will carry the full range of Belkin hardware in Bahrain, Oman, Qatar and Saudi Arabia. Almasa's job will be to service and support partners as Belkin goes about attempting to widen its regional scope, particularly in Saudi Arabia where the size of the consumer and SMB sectors remain much larger (source : ITP Middle East).

Safadi has a strong Distribution background within the Middle East region including KSA and has an excellent reputation with resellers and channel partners. Mindware powers up its Saudi business
