German distributors bet on solar energy

Germany : after Rombus last year, B.Com's managers Torsten Belverato and Thomas Hoffmann have opened a dedicated company named B.Com Solar, which is managed by Werner Dao, the former director of MSI in the country. Broadliner Ingram Micro also indicates to closely watch this market. All these companies hopes to leverage on the financial helps of the German government to push the equipment of the country in solar panels. Rombus gets into solar power

Germany : broadliner Rombus IT Distribution has opened a business unit dedicated to solar energy. Managed by Andreas Costales with two more employees and working, for the beginning, on Sälzer Energie panels and infrastructures. They will be offered by its IT resellers as additional sales, Rombus having a list of installers and electricians to help the resellers with the installation if they wish.

Torsten Seiferth joins Tech Data

Germany : after a few months working with Rombus as a freelance, former Actebis man Torsten Seiferth has joined broadliner Tech Data as medium account director. He replaces Christoph Müller who is on extended sick leave and reports to Marc Müller.

Torsten Seiferth joins Rombus

Germany : longtime Actebis commercial director Torsten Seiferth, who lately was working for storage supply specialist Mediacom, has joined broadliner Rombus IT Distribution as new commercial director. He replaces Ralf Schmidt who left to become sales manager for service provider Esacom. He joins his former colleague Andreas Costales, who joined in April as marketing and purchase manager, replacing Claus Mostola who left to become the manager of Gembird in the country.
