Semiconductor specialist EBV Elektronik has launched a comprehensive webpage for engineers of the semiconductor industry seeking for real system solutions. At www.ebv-design-solutions.com, EBV provides customers with real system solutions and all related technical information they need. The heart of the EBV Design Solutions webpage is the one-of-a-kind Build Your Block application, with which engineers can draw or upload their individual block diagrams and get access to a database of pre-defined examples. The EBV community works on it and gets back to the designer with an optimized technical proposal.

EBV Elektronik extends distribution agreement with Micron

Semiconductor specialist EBV Elektronik has extended its distribution agreement with Micron Technology to include coverage across the EMEA region with local EBV offices, excluding Israel. EBV's distribution agreement with Micron therefore now covers the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine and the United Kingdom.

Avnet promotes corporate officers

United States : multispecialist Avnet has unveiled two corporate officer promotions. Steve Phillips, CIO, has been promoted to a corporate officer position of senior vice president for Avnet, Inc. from vice president. In addition, Graeme Watt, president of Avnet Technology Solutions EMEA, was elected as a new corporate vice president for Avnet, Inc.
