Solar acquires parts of Otra
2010-09-02 Denmark : cabling specialist Solar is acquiring parts of the activities of its competitor Otra Danmark, which is owned by the French Sonepar Group. The final acquisition is expected to take place at the beginning of September 2010. The business acquired by Solar Danmark consists primarily of sales of cabling to electrical contractors. Revenue from the activities acquired amounted to €27m in 2009. The activities related to utilities will be continued by Otra Danmark, which will thus be deleted from ITdistri database.
