F-Secure in Partnership With DSD Europe

Updated: Sep 8, 2020

Finnish security editor F-Secure has entered the DSD Europe e-software platform, in order to offer a higher quality of service to independent resellers through a dematerialised access to its entire offering.

"We are delighted with this new partnership. Our collaboration with DSD Europe will accelerate our development on the French and Belgian markets, but also in other European countries. Two years after launching F-Secure's Retail BU in France and Belgium, we have succeeded in reaching agreements with the majority of national retailers, taking the place of our historical competitors. This demonstrates both the public's enthusiasm for F-Secure security solutions and the validation of the innovative business model offered to reseller partners. With the major retailers conquered, my vision is now to strengthen our national network by focusing on independent retailers. And it is precisely in this context that the partnership with DSD is strategic. Their e-platform perfectly meets the requirements of local or independent resellers who need more flexibility and availability. This 100% digital distribution allows us once again to adapt to our customers and to the reality of their daily business. For example, by allowing them to generate live licenses or authentication certificates directly from the DSD interface," comments Fergus Leleu, Sales Director France and Belgium for F-Secure.

Laurent Cauwel, Partner and Team Leader at DSD Europe, explains: "it was essential for us to find a partner who is anchored on French territory and who believes in the future of the digital market. For these reasons, we are very excited to start this collaboration with F-Secure. We will build here a true multidimensional partnership with both a geographical dimension between France and French-speaking Belgium, and a 'market' dimension based on a tripartite relationship of trust between DSD, F-Secure and resellers. Hand in hand, we will look for new reseller partners and try to develop our business on a European scale."
