Broadliner Tech Data Deutschland has expanded its Endpoint Solutions portfolio to include products from the Austrian manufacturer Nuki Home Solutions GmbH, a provider of retrofittable, smart access solutions.
Making existing door locks intelligent and thus completely replacing the physical key was the goal of the developers of the manufacturer Nuki, founded in 2014, whose portfolio includes solutions for single-family homes and apartment buildings as well as small and medium-sized enterprises. The so-called Smart Locks can not only be installed by end customers themselves, they also offer many advantages for handicapped persons or short-term and long-term tenants, in addition to hands-free access to houses and apartments. The app-controlled Smart Locks make physical key handover superfluous.
Oliver Kaiser, Director Endpoint Solutions at Tech Data, is delighted with the distribution agreement: "with Nuki, we are gaining a multi-award-winning solution provider for electronic door locks, with whom we are optimally complementing our Smart Home portfolio in terms of access control and security."
