Keyboard vendor BRYDGE has signed a distribution contract in France with consumer electronics specialist SCP Technologies. BRYDGE is specialised in high-end tablet keyboards, a French version (AZERTY) of these for Apple iPads and Microsoft Surface PCs they have just released. BRYDGE keyboards are revolutionary in their design and specifications, they have the following features:
A patented and lifetime guaranteed hinge with opening angle (and vision angle) 0 - 180° this hinge automatically stops at all opening angles and folds down completely on the iPad or Surface screen, with an unequalled thickness and the impression of having a notebook.
They are the only ones to be entirely made of aluminium, allowing a perfect match with iPads and Surface in terms of anodised aluminium grades.
They can be installed and removed in a few seconds.
Their keys are backlit.
Typing is identical to a real computer keyboard compared to Apple keyboard keys (no pressing).
It has the multimedia function keys (play/pause, volume, previous and next), those related to Bluetooth keyboard management (pairing, on/off, battery level), as well as iPad-specific keys.
They have a separate power supply, no power from the iPad (Apple's smart connector) that reduces the iPad's battery life. Allowing operation for up to 12 months.
BRYDGE was again nominated at the CES in Las Vegas in 2018 as an Innovation Award Honoree for the BRYDGE 10.5 keyboard (for iPad 10.5).
