
Infrastructure and software VAD Pedab Group has signed an agreement to acquire Cristie Nordic. The acquisition strengthens Pedab's offering to partners and customers in the areas of data availability, storage and backup management. The acquisition supports Pedab's growth strategy with the objective to create long-term partnerships and new business opportunities for its ecosystem.
Cristie Nordic is a Swedish company with focus on data availability for on-premises infrastructure organisations. The company has a turnover of approximately EUR 3 million with offices in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Germany. They have an established customer- and partner- base in the Nordics, DACH and Poland. Cristie Nordics focus on manage, protect and store data with focus on availability and recovery assurance in an agile IT world.
In connection with the acquisition, Cristie Nordic’s employees will join the Pedab Group. "With the help of Pedab's organization, we can increase the service levels for our customers. We also see great opportunities to increase our growth targeting a broader customer base through Pedab's well-established ecosystems of partners, suppliers and customers", says Karin Österman, CEO of Cristie Nordic. Cristie Nordic is today a partner of Pedab. The company had joined Pedab Group from November 26th and continues to work under its own name and remain in its premises in Kista until further notice.
