Gemalto Selects Exclusive Networks

Franck Burtin, Country Manager at Exclusive Networks France

Infrastructure VAD Exclusive Networks has been chosen by Gemalto, the world leader in IT security, to distribute its data protection and identity security solutions in France. This new agreement covers Gemalto's SafeNet access management, encryption and key management solutions.

In recent years, the number of data breaches has increased considerably. And last May, the GDP (General Data Protection) Regulation came into force. This new context is more than ever an incentive for companies to protect their data and fully comply with new regulations. The potential market for cyber security providers is huge: €1.6 billion, according to IDC. The partnership between Exclusive Networks and Gemalto will enable French companies to benefit from a unique expertise in data protection, in order to meet the requirements of the DGMP and the challenges of the digital transition.

Under this agreement, Exclusive Networks intends to make a significant investment to provide advanced technical training to its staff and resellers, so that they develop an in-depth knowledge of industry issues and how Gemalto's solutions can help solve these challenges. Exclusive Networks also intends to invest in quality sales and marketing support.

Didier Wylomanski, Gemalto's Regional Director of Identity and Data Protection, said: "in order to meet the strong demand from the French market, we needed a distributor capable of making bold investments and offering enhanced support to accelerate our current growth, while pursuing our objective: to train companies to help them protect their most valuable asset, their data. Exclusive Networks' proactivity, its large technical team and its privileged relationships with its resellers make it an ideal partner. By working together, we will undoubtedly be able to access new opportunities to help organisations achieve their data protection objectives more effectively, in line with evolving regulatory requirements."

Franck Burtin, Country Manager at Exclusive Networks France, adds: "we are very pleased to become a Gemalto distributor. Supporting and advancing Gemalto's growth projects requires significant investment and we will ensure that we achieve this with our technical, sales and marketing teams. We will also seek to develop the Gemalto brand by working with supplier partners such as Palo Alto Networks and Nutanix to expand Gemalto's customer base and thus its revenue streams."
