The Advanced Solutions division of broadliner Tech Data Germany has signed a distribution agreement with Blueliv, a Spanish cyberthreat intelligence company. The agreement rounds out the Munich-based distributor's IT security portfolio with an important provider to enhance customers' threat detection and incident response capabilities.
Blueliv was founded in 2008 and is headquartered in Barcelona, Spain. As a leading provider of advanced cyberthreat intelligence, Blueliv searches the Internet, the Deep Web and the Dark Net to provide information about exposed digital assets and emerging cyber threats, and to provide customers with automated and actionable real-time information. In this way, organizations can protect their networks, corporate assets, customers, and ultimately their reputation.
Blueliv's scalable, cloud-based technology transforms global threat data into meaningful, business-relevant intelligence. This enables organisations to save time and resources by dramatically reducing response times to cyber incidents and providing instant access to easy-to-use information.

Ralf Stadler, Director of the Security Solution & Mobility business unit at Tech Data Deutschland, comments on the signing of the contract: "I am delighted that with Blueliv we can now offer our partners an enterprise solution that protects the company and its brands as well as overarching assets and makes accounts - such as credentials or credit cards - more secure. Unfortunately, we are seeing a significant increase in stolen credentials in Europe - so it is essential for all companies to address the issue and not become a victim of login data theft. Blueliv sets itself apart from other providers with two technical features: In my opinion, Blueliv's pay-as-you-need model is perfect for companies. Cyberthreat Intelligence is streamlined, cost-effective and tailored directly to individual security requirements. The second argument is the structure of the Blueliv solution, in which - individually tailored to the needs of customers - the perfect approach is configured in a modular intelligence solution and supported by its own high-class team of analysts. Among other things, the manufacturer offers modules to find stolen or leaked login information, to monitor hacktivist activities aimed at an organization, or to find out which opponents are opposing the company on the dark web."
Daniel Solís, CEO and founder of Blueliv, said: "Blueliv is pleased to be working with Tech Data Germany to add our solutions to their security portfolio. Linking what's happening on the network with what's happening in the external threat landscape is an essential foundation for the comprehensive defense that only targeted, actionable threat intelligence solutions can provide. By introducing our threat discovery and remediation solutions at Tech Data, we are working together to improve the security of thousands of companies around the world."
