Software specialist DSD Europe has expanded its cloud service offering with Bitdefender Cloud Security for MSP. DSD partners can sell the security solution to their customers as a monthly service via the DSD platform. "Bitdefender consumer products have been available through the DSD platform in several countries in Europe for years, but now that we can offer the MSP security solution across Europe, we still have a contract we are proud of", said Thijs van de Moosdijk, founder and CEO of DSD Europe.
With Bitdefender Cloud Security, single console MSPs can provide all customers' endpoint security layers with the best protection against advanced and targeted security attacks. Cloud Security for MSP includes Antivirus and Antimalware as well as Anti-Exploit, Advanced Machine Learning, Content Control and Device Control. In addition, MSPs can expand the security solution with specialised security services based on customer requirements. Bitdefender enables MSPs to meet the rapidly growing demand for advanced threat prevention and detection.
The new security services are: patch management, Advanced Threat Security, consisting of HyperDetect and Sandbox Analyzer, and Endpoint Detection and Response. The specialised security services can deploy and manage MSPs together with the standard services via the same multi-tenant cloud console. With this, Bitdefender creates a complete endpoint security solution, manages from a single console, streamlining security and avoiding delays for customers. Through the DSD platform, MSPs can easily access the cloud service. "Integration of Bitdefender services into an online distribution platform, such as DSD, is rare. For example, some of our distributors still sell our services manually, while at DSD everything is done through the platform", said Denis Payen, EMEA xSP Sales Director at Bitdefender.
