Romanian security editor Bitdefender has signed a distribution agreement with Config, a value-added distributor specialising in the marketing of IT solutions. Config, a major player in the IT solutions distribution market for more than 20 years, will distribute in Switzerland and French-speaking Africa, through its offices in Algeria, Côte d'Ivoire, Morocco, Senegal and Tunisia, the entire Bitdefender enterprise range: from endpoint, data center and hybrid cloud protection solutions to the new network traffic analysis security solution, Bitdefender Network Traffic Security Analytics.
"Config has a very strong experience on the African territory. This is a major opportunity to strengthen our position in the cyber security market in the Maghreb, but also in all French-speaking African countries. Config being an international company, we have also entrusted them with the distribution of our solutions in French-speaking Switzerland", says Christian Stanford, Senior Director EMEA Channels at Bitdefender.

Config is positioning itself as a distributor offering real added value to its network of resellers, with services being the key element of its offer, particularly in the areas of cybersecurity, Wi-Fi, log management and load balancing.

The Config and Bitdefender teams have already defined their common roadmap for 2019, with the implementation of initial sales and marketing actions, such as certification training, the organization of reseller and end customer seminars or participation in national events, such as the Cybersecurity Forum in Marrakech, from 12 to 15 June 2019.
