Ingram Micro Launches Leasing in Nordics

Robert Andersson, product manager for Ingram Micro LEASE

Broadliner Ingram Micro has started to offer leasing as a business model to its customers in the Nordic region, through its offices in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden. Leasing is a smart option for both small and large businesses where dealers, in collaboration with Ingram Micro, can create new opportunities in hardware, software or other service offerings.

We have seen that the demand from our customers has increased in order to offer leasing as a financing opportunity for their customers. It feels very good and exciting that we now have a simple, fast, flexible and completely digital solution together with LeaseCloud, so that we can only offer our customers what they demand”, says Robert Andersson, product manager for Ingram Micro LEASE.

Ingram Micro has opened an IM Lease webshop where the entire range offered is available. The dealer writes a digital agreement with their customer directly in he IM Lease webshop and the entire transaction can be completed in under 30 minutes. Contract duration can be selected for 24 or 36 months. The agreement is signed using BankID.

Ingram Micro LEASE offers three main benefits:

  • focus on business: the customer does not have to incur a large one-off cost for equipment to be used for several years, and the costs are evenly distributed over the time the products are used.

  • release capital: the company's loan framework at the bank is less affected than by a traditional bank loan, because it is the equipment that constitutes the security for the financing. The cost is fully deductible.

  • predictable and easy debit: it is always the same monthly cost during the contract period - the customer knows when and how much to pay.

The supplier of the technical solution is the company LeaseCloud, which is a fintech start-up company which was started in 2017 after seeing the challenge from IT companies to find a good technical solution for leasing. They are currently 10 employees, half of whom are developers. ”It is so much fun that we can cooperate with the world's largest IT wholesaler, and together we have developed an IT solution that is at the forefront of the market”, says Martin Björnström at LeaseCloud.
