French IT security provider Wallix has a new distribution partner at its side: network and security VAD Infinigate Germany. Together they will serve the growing demand for Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions and further develop the potential of the German market with a certified European solution.
Infinigate, the German Value-Add Distributor, is now adding the entire Wallix product range to its portfolio. With its solutions, WALLIX secures and tracks the access of privileged user accounts to servers, terminals and networked objects in cloud environments.
Accounts with higher access rights are the backbone of an IT infrastructure and therefore a major potential vulnerability for unconscious or intentional misuse. Not least because of this, the use and control of these accesses in organisations is often subject to strict legal requirements and compliance guidelines. Through the partnership with Infinigate, Wallix in Germany continues to rely on the channel model, through which resellers can benefit from the added value of the manufacturer as well as the value-added distribution.
Stefan Rabben, Area Sales Director DACH & Eastern Europe of Wallix, explains: "with Infinigate's extensive security know-how, we are joining forces with the best partner to make our Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions available to significantly more companies in our most important German markets (e.g. industry, criticism, healthcare). Thanks to the 11 employees in the region and the new office in Munich, Wallix can efficiently support local marketing, sales and customer activities in order to increase business growth. Named PAM Product Leader in the KuppingerCole Compass 2019, this partnership with Infinigate is fully aligned with our strategic plan Ambition21 to become a European leader in PAM."
Andreas Bechtold, Managing Director of Infinigate Germany, adds: "data theft or manipulation has an enormous damage potential. All the more reason for us to be pleased that, with Wallix, we have been able to add an established provider to our portfolio who has dedicated itself to one of the main gateway providers: the protection and control of privileged user accounts. The existing technology partnerships of Wallix with many IT manufacturers make the distribution of Wallix solutions very interesting for the highly developed German market. In particular, the technology partnership with Gemalto, whose portfolio is ideally complemented by Wallix, should be named."
