
Broadliner Tech Data has announced that its specialised solution business Global Computing Components (GCC) has entered into a pan-European agreement with Toshiba to offer the company’s full client and enterprise internal hard disk drive (HDD) portfolio. Toshiba’s HDD products are optimised for data centre, cloud and server storage, surveillance, network attached storage and PC among other applications. As part of the agreement Tech Data’s customers will have access to Toshiba’s industry-leading MG08 Enterprise Series Hard Drive, available in the second half of 2019. The MG08 series with a capacity of 16TB includes the industry’s largest capacity CMR (conventional magnetic recording) HDD and is compatible with both cloud and traditional data centre environments.
