Network and security VAD Spectrami has signed an agreement to offer the full spectrum of software security solutions from Veracode, the provider in next-generation application security testing (AST). This partnership further strengthens Spectrami’s existing security portfolio offered in the region through its offices in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
The Veracode Application Security platform offers speed, scale, and services and consultation to help companies manage security risks across their entire application portfolio. With broad language, framework, and testing technology coverage, the Veracode platform offers a holistic, scalable way to manage security risk across every software application an organization uses. Leveraging a wide range of security testing and threat mitigation techniques, combined with best practices derived from the most innovative application security programs in enterprises globally, customers are given the keys to transforming how they build and buy the software by deeply integrating security into their software development lifecycles and enabling DevSecOps processes.
Veracode has received consistent industry recognition, including being positioned in the Leaders quadrant for the sixth consecutive time in the Gartner Inc. 2019 Magic Quadrant for Application Security Testing.
Talking about the partnership, Anand Choudha, Spectrami's CEO, said: “with the heavy dependence on software solutions for businesses that run at a global scale, and given the online nature of all current offerings, it is critical to ensure that the software is secure from every perspective. Ensuring business continuity for our clients, and leaving security in the hands of the experts, means that companies can focus on their core, and not worry if they are vulnerable. With Veracode, we now add the ability to scan entire software portfolios using multiple different solutions that cover the entire software development lifecycle, giving our customers the ability to reduce their exposure to threats by developing secured code from the start.”
“Securing the software that organisations are creating, buying or incorporating from a third party is imperative to compete in today’s global marketplace”, said Pal Kondel, Veracode's EMEA VO. “With businesses facing advanced threats, data privacy laws, and a lack of skill cybersecurity workers and developers, automating application security at scale and integrating it into the code as its written is the most effective way to secure the software that their operation and reputations depend on. Spectrami is an established, trusted VAD with the right combination of knowledge and relationships to help businesses leverage Veracode application security solutions.”
