Cloud Distribution, the British “Cloud First” Next-generation value added distributor (VAD), has launched ‘Cloud ARMR’ (pronounced; ‘Armour’ and standing for ‘Automate, Regulate, Mitigate, & Remediate’) Cyber Security Managed Services for Partners, reaching beyond existing technology solution portfolios. ARMR offers partners the ability to white label any of the follow services directly to their end user customer base :
SOC as a Service
Vulnerability Assessment Services – ISO 27001
Managed Cyber Security Service for existing deployed solutions
Managed Cyber Security Service for new deployments
Cloud Distribution has partnered with disruptive Managed Security provider SecureFort to create ‘Cloud ARMR’. ARMR delivers a full SOC (Security Operations Centre) as a white label service, a complete managed cyber-security service for Vendors within and outside of Cloud Distribution’s portfolio, in-depth cyber-security assessments, and can deploy solutions as a managed service including software and hardware not currently included in Cloud’s portfolio of technology such as Fortinet, Palo Alto, Kaspersky, Symantec, Sophos to name but a few.
ARMR is an industry first, fully managed white label cyber security service offered to partners for security products and solutions that are not necessarily in their portfolio. This gives VARs a huge opportunity to extend their reach and offer managed services and SOC as a service to their customers where previously they could not, due to skills or technology restrictions.
Adam Davison, Sales & Marketing Director for Cloud Distribution, commented: “what we are hearing from both end users and partners is that Cyber Security as a managed service is a the most sought-after solution to combat modern threats that are constantly evolving. We’ve worked closely with digital disruptor SecureFort precisely to solve this problem. ARMR gives our partners access to a full scope of skills and services 365/24/7, allowing them to continue with business as usual, rest assured that their customers will always remain safe and secure. The best part is we can offer this via partners to customer technology solutions that we and our partners do not currently house. This is truly a ground-breaking service and a first for a distributor!”
Through the partnership, Cloud ARMR now has 50 technical engineers with skills covering the entire Information Security operational landscape.
William Despard, Services Director for SecureFort, explains: “Cloud Distribution have taken the step to enable their VARs to wrap a managed service around existing customer solutions for Cloud Distribution and non-Cloud Distribution security Vendor brands. Not only this, but they can now roll out new technology solutions including software and hardware not previously available within their solution stack. They’ve seen the market shift and heard what their VARs need, and we are very excited to help them deliver this service. We are bringing over 20 years of experience to this partnership alongside over 300,000 managed devices now under the ARMR management platform which spans across various sectors including key contracts with large Government Ministries and Private Sector companies. These include the Ministry of Intelligence and the Ministry of Justice, Telecommunications companies as well as various other private sector customers.”
Through ARMR, resellers can offer a broad solution set and operations centre to assist end user organisations with Information Security Management, Privacy, Governance, Risk and Compliance, without having to engage with multiple providers across the different disciplines. Cloud Distribution is launching ARMR to the UK market and supporting reseller partners with marketing through the Cloud Altitude Program. Through Cloud ARMR, partners have access to specialised security experts and consultants with a wealth of experience and can utilise support with Professional and assessment Services from POC through to full installation.
