Barracuda Appoints Infinigate for DACH

Security VAD Infinigate expands its 12-year partnership with Barracuda Networks: with Barracuda MSP and Infinigate, system houses now have the opportunity to address the rapidly growing Managed Services market. Barracuda MSP's portfolio has expanded with the acquisition of Avast's Managed Workplace business. Infinigate will also provide training and support services and act as invoice processor and distributor for Barracuda MSP.

Based on an October 2018 Markets & Markets report, the managed services market is expected to grow from €162 billion to €253 billion in 2023, representing an annual growth rate of nearly 10 percent. Germany has the third highest proportion of managed services providers in the EMEA region, just behind the UK and the Netherlands. There is great potential for growth, especially in the industrial and automotive sectors.

The partnership is a key factor in Barracuda's MSP channel development strategy and reflects the rapidly growing demand for managed services in the EMEA region. It builds on Barracuda's recent acquisition of Managed Workplace - a strategic acquisition that adds momentum to the DACH region business, which Infinigate covers through offices in Austria, Germany and Switzerland. Infinigate is charged with developing the channel partnerships and acquiring additional Managed Services Providers in the region.
