Infinigate Invests in MSP

Sascha Odenthal, the new Head of MSSP Business at Infinigate Deutschland

Network and security VAD Infinigate Deutschland is massively expanding its support for MSP partners. This enables the distributor to accompany IT system houses on their way to becoming Managed Security Services Providers (MSSP) individually and sustainably. Infinigate offers its specialist trade partners a wide range of services in the form of concepts and contract templates, seminars and consulting as well as a central MSP billing portal.

A new business unit for Managed Security Services was established to expand this area. "It is our goal to develop interested partners into MSSPs, to increase their earnings and to accompany them holistically on their way there. The many years of experience of our employees, some of whom have themselves concluded MSP contracts with system houses during their careers, provides our partners with many important added values. That's why we know what matters", says Sascha Odenthal, the new Head of MSSP Business at Infinigate Deutschland.

Andreas Bechtold, Managing Director of Infinigate Deutschland, adds: "instead of simply providing marketplaces for all sorts of things, we differentiate ourselves from our competitors by providing needs-based consulting and a consistent focus on IT security and networks. Initially, we have strong vendors at our side, Sophos and Barracuda, with whom we want to jointly exploit the opportunities in the MSSP business."

With the acquisition of VAD Acmeo by the Infinigate Group, the leading European distributor of IT security solutions has had a team specialising in managed services at its side since last year. Infinigate starts with a specifically selected manufacturer portfolio for MSSPs, which will be successively expanded. This also applies to the online presence for services.
