French consumer electronics and smart object specialist Trax Distribution has unveiled a distribution partnership with storage vendor Lexar. With 3000 m2 of warehouse space and 100,000 products delivered per month, Trax distributes more than 5,000 references from more than 45 brands working in the following markets: A/V, connected objects, drones and robots, IT peripherals, luggage, Mac universe, storage, supplies, tablets, telephony accessories and urban mobility.
"With this new partnership, we aim to strengthen our storage and memory offer. More particularly, Lexar will allow us to offer high-end products for the video-makers and photographers, a market Lexar is more particularly targeting, especially since its acquisition by Chinese company Longsys, two years ago", explains Olivier Granger, the CEO of Trax Distribution.
Thanks to its research and development laboratory, Lexar made a name for itself at the last CES in Las Vegas by presenting the first SD card with a capacity of 1 Tb and an ultra-fast USB 3.1 SSD with read and write speeds of up to 950 MB/s and 900 MB/s respectively.
