Italian broadliner Computer Gross has acquired for an undisclosed amount 100% of the shares of local Adobe distributor Pico.
Pico is a historic distributor of professional software for graphics, prepress, 3D printing based in Reggio Emilia (offices in Milan and Rome) and a solid partner of Adobe. It has recorded sales revenues as at 31 December 2018 of approximately €20m with 25 strongly specialised employees.
Through this operation Computer Gross strengthens its position in the digital media market with high growth potential, thanks to a partnership with leading international vendor Adobe, a global reference operator in Digital Transformation & Imaging. This agreement allows Computer Gross to begin a process of collaboration with operators who operate in this market, integrating new specialised skills in an area of strong development and transformation.
"This important operation represents a strategic opportunity for Computer Gross, which consolidates its competitive position, extending its offer to new market segments and channels and increasing its collaboration with one of the largest ICT vendors. The integration of the offer with the Adobe Vendor allows us to enable new business opportunities and respond to the growing demand for digital transformation of our ecosystem", said Paolo Castellacci, President of Computer Gross.
"It is a source of great satisfaction for me that the experience and results obtained by Pico can continue to grow as part of Computer Gross, with which we share the choice of focus and specialisation", concludes Doriano Guerrieri, President of Pico.
