Christer Svärd has been appointed as new CEO for broadliner Exertis Nordics.

Svärd was previously CEO of Higab AB, a company that builds and manages properties in Gothenburg. Under his leadership, a large and successful effort was made to increase customer and employee satisfaction, as well as a sharp improvement in the company's financial result. He has previously been CEO for Volvo Parts, the Volvo Group's spare parts distribution company.

"I have extensive experience in the supply chain and leading companies with great growth potential. I hope to be able to contribute with the necessary changes and important improvements. As managing director, I am results-oriented, energetic, communicative and curious. I hope these qualities make me a good fit in the company", says Svärd.

Sword succeeds Daniel Johnsson as CEO. Last summer, Johnsson announced that he chose to resign after 23 years in the position of CEO. He gladly leaves his assignment to Svärd, who expresses that he sees Exertis as a fine and well-run company.

"I am grateful for the trust I have gained to continue to manage and develop the company. For me, employees always come first, because when we take care of the employees, we also take good care of the customers. By being present as a leader and working with feedback throughout the company, we achieve results and develop business operations", concludes Christer Svärd.
