Since the acquisition of acmeo GmbH by the Infinigate Group in 2018, both companies have grown together more and more and have continued to develop very positively in the current financial year. In the first five months of the current fiscal year, total revenue increased by more than 38% and the MSP business grew by 29%.
The merger enables in particular the further expansion of the security portfolio in combination with cloud solutions and managed services offerings.
Sascha Odenthal, Sales Director MSP & Cloud, explains: "in the last three years, we have built up strong expertise in MSP and cloud topics at all locations, greatly expanded the functionality of our MSP portal and launched new topics, such as SOCplus, with great success. With our merged and powerful teams of sales and more than 40 technology specialists, we can offer partners broad and very attractive services in these areas and thus support them powerfully in their growth."
By dovetailing many years of experience and know-how in the security and managed service environment, we offer our partners future-oriented services paired with an attractive portfolio in order to provide customer-oriented solutions and services.
Infinigate Deutschland GmbH automatically assumes all rights and obligations of acmeo GmbH as of the effective date. The locations in Hanover and Essen will remain unchanged, contact persons will only receive new e-mail addresses. The overall personnel strength and professional competence will be further expanded in all locations in line with the growth.
The management of the enlarged Infinigate Deutschland GmbH will remain in the hands of Robert Scicolone for sales, marketing and technology and Dr. Jan Erbguth for the commercial area. The management of the MSP & Cloud division will be taken over by Sascha Odenthal, who will report to Richard Huth, EVP Integration & Compliance.
Robert Scicolone explains: "as interim managing director of acmeo GmbH, Richard Huth did a first-class job in preparing the way for us as the architect of the merger in all respects. He will now be responsible for the MSP business unit at the DACH level after fulfilling this task. Thanks to his commitment, we were able to successfully unite the teams from Hanover and Essen with our structures and will from now on operate as a strongly grown company in the German market."
