On 1 October 2021, MSP VAD acmeo GmbH has merged with Infinigate Deutschland GmbH and now operates as the "MSP & Cloud" business unit of Infinigate Deutschland GmbH.
Since the acquisition of acmeo GmbH by the Infinigate Group in 2018, both companies have grown together more and more and have continued to develop very positively in the current financial year. In the first five months of the current fiscal year, total revenue increased by more than 38% and the MSP business grew by 29%.
The merger enables in particular the further expansion of the security portfolio in combination with cloud solutions and managed services offerings.
Sascha Odenthal, Sales Director MSP & Cloud, explains: "in the last three years, we have built up strong expertise in MSP and cloud topics at all locations, greatly expanded the functionality of our MSP portal and launched new topics, such as SOCplus, with great success. Infinigate Deutschland GmbH automatically assumes all rights and obligations of acmeo GmbH as of the effective date. The locations in Hanover and Essen will remain unchanged, contact persons will only receive new e-mail addresses. The overall personnel strength and professional competence will be further expanded in all locations in line with the growth.
The management of the enlarged Infinigate Deutschland GmbH will remain in the hands of Robert Scicolone for sales, marketing and technology and Dr. Jan Erbguth for the commercial area. The management of the MSP & Cloud division will be taken over by Sascha Odenthal, who will report to Richard Huth, EVP Integration & Compliance.
