Swiss broadliner Alltron is expanding its portfolio as of today to include Dell Technologies' server and storage solutions for enterprise and midmarket customers. Dell partners can now obtain the entire solution portfolio from Dell's long-standing distributor Alltron.
For a long time, all Dell products in Switzerland were only available through direct sales. This changed at the end of 2011 when Alltron became the first distributor for computer systems and peripherals from Dell in Switzerland. Thanks to the cooperation with Alltron, whose team ensured a constant stock of proven and popular configurations, specialist trade partners were able to order Dell products for the next working day. The manufacturer is also increasingly relying on sales via partner channels for its complete range of infrastructure solutions. As part of this strategy, Dell and Alltron are expanding their distribution cooperation to include server and storage solutions from Dell Technologies, formerly EMC.

With this step, Alltron continues to push the development of its Competence Centres. In a total of six Competence Centres, Alltron will bundle its know-how across technology and business units in order to offer partners customised, holistic solutions. The Datacenter Competence Centre, which was founded at the beginning of the year, is headed by Marco Ducati, who advises partners on all aspects of the topic with an experienced team of 7 people. The team is currently setting up a demo centre at Alltron's headquarters in Mägenwil, where partners and their customers will be able to experience and test new solutions live in the future. It is expected to be available at the end of the year. Thanks to the extended cooperation with Dell Technologies, infrastructure solutions from Dell can also be tried out there.
