Cisco offers user-friendly WiFi solutions under the name "Meraki Go" for small businesses and the consumer market, relying on the retail channel. Swiss retail partners can now purchase the Meraki Go product line from Cisco through local broadliner Alltron.

Andrea Savoca, Category Manager Infrastructure at Alltron, explains why these solutions are exciting: "Cisco Meraki Go combines proven, secure enterprise-class technology with the user-friendliness and price/performance ratio of consumer products. The products offer a cost-effective entry into nationwide WLAN for hairdressing salons, cafés or even smaller offices."
Many small businesses operate network access solutions that are actually intended for home use. Many of them lack certain functions that are important in the business environment. These include features to manage bandwidth for business-critical applications or to increase security. With Meraki Go, such settings can be made via a smartphone application.
